Before the truck reaches your door
The outdoor carry deserves attention alongside the driving route through the Valley.
Different homes across the Valley
Phoenix homes range from historic districts such as Willo to neighborhoods in the city's outlying urban villages. One Price Moving Company handles local and long-distance moves, commercial jobs, apartment moves and pianos. Each address has its own path from the place a truck can stop to the room where an item belongs.
Tempe and Mesa sit close enough that a Broadway Curve backup can change the driving plan.
The hourly starting point
With a starting rate of $150 per hour, a local job includes 2 movers and a truck. There is a 2-hour minimum; stairs and outdoor carrying distance affect the time required.
The first 20 miles are included, and miles beyond 20 are charged at $2.25 per mile one way. A run from central Phoenix out to the far East Valley can use up that allowance quickly.
Leaving the Valley with your household
Long-distance moves start at $2,225. The price is binding for the agreed inventory, access and services, and our own truck carries the load with the same crew at both ends.
A call with the addresses and a rough inventory is enough to get the pricing conversation moving.

Around the Valley from east to west
Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert and Chandler extend the service area east and southeast; Goodyear and Surprise are to the west. The Phoenix street grid meets several freeway corridors. Laveen and Ahwatukee are Phoenix planning areas, rather than additional separate cities in that service list.
Outlying cities add driving time before loading starts. Areas we reach.

Scottsdale
The Shea Corridor contains established residential neighborhoods north of Camelback Road.

Plan for the outdoor part of the day
Phoenix summer loading needs a plan for heat exposure. Monsoon weather adds the possibility of dust and sudden rain during the carry between home and truck.
Earlier requests leave more room to pick a start time.
One large item deserves attention
The size of a piano and the turns between its room and the truck can determine the handling needed. That remains true when it is the only large item leaving the house.
Piano handling is priced with the item and access in view.

Questions before a Valley move
How the hourly rate and reservation apply to a Valley move.
A 35% deposit books the moving date. The rest of the plan identifies the items and work agreed for that move.
Local pricing follows the hourly rate and drive distance, while long-distance pricing depends on the inventory, access at both addresses and the services agreed for the move.
